שישתמש בשתי אותיות שנאמר כל הנשמה תהלל יה
I found
in tractate Eruvin the source in linking the [usage] of letters Yod Heh for
this time: (Eruvin page 18b)
And R’
Yirmiyah ben Elazar said: Since the day that the Temple was destroyed, it
is enough for the world to use the two-letter name of God. As the verse says:
Let all souls praise Yah
